Haere ra!

It was kia ora and haere mai at the beginning. And now after two and half fantastic years here, it's time for the haere ra - farewell.

I'll keep it short as our landlord is soon to arrive to check us out and make us homeless AND unemployed. Gulp. And then it's off to the airport to start our two month adventure home; using Los Angeles as the entry and exit to Central America we'll be travelling from Cancun in Mexico, through Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and ending in Costa Rica. Should be quite the adventure!

New Zealand has been great for us. As a couple we couldn't be much closer. We've explored the length and breadth of this amazing country in our beloved little campervan. We've been fortunate to further our careers and work with some amazing colleagues. We've pushed our bodies at endurance multisport events and seen what we can really achieve if we try. We've had amazingly memorable adventures with visiting friends and family. And we've made some pretty cool friends along the way too.

Here's a few photos which tell a bit of the story.
Day 1 of NZ - unpacking everything we had!
At the end of the Routeburn Tramp
Hiking with my (Matt's) parents
The simple beauty of NZ
The dawn of the Ironman Day,
before the 3.8k swim, 180k bike and 42.2k run. Boom!
Auckland - a damn cool big little city
All for a bit of symmetry - so here's us
packed up with enough stuff for two months
So as Tui Brewery would say... is that the honeymoon over?
Yeah right!
